Therapy is a wonderful resource to have, and I believe it is for anyone, whether you are going through a tumultuous time, just feeling stressed or drained, or are questioning issues in your life. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, built upon a strong person-centered foundation. Ultimately, I believe that therapy should be tailored to the individual and that there is no “one size fits all” approach or solution
While I have experience working with a variety of issues, I have a special interest in working with couples, dealing with intimate issues such as sex and relationship issues, and helping with any sort of interpersonal problems individuals might face in any aspect of their life. I look forward to gaining more experience in the realm of family and group therapy as those opportunities present themselves. I pride myself on being a black female therapist and look forward to seeing clients who are often under-represented in the therapy world such as people of color, black women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. We often go through life doubting ourselves and where we fit into society’s standards, but everyone deserves to live as their true self. I started on this journey to help others find their path, accept themselves, and feel more comfortable in their skin. I want to be in your corner, helping you achieve that freedom.
