I believe people have the power to change and that therapy can be beneficial in helping with that change. Each of us has inherent worth and value. Sometimes that value and worth gets hidden amongst the struggles of life. I aim to help you uncover and discover or re-discover the worth and value you have. You are important.
I take a collaborative and eclectic approach to therapy to best meet your individual needs. In therapy, I pull primarily from the following modalities: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Existential therapy, and Humanistic therapy. My background includes working with individuals and couples with a number of concerns including: relationship conflict, adult ADHD, trauma, BPD, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, loss, major life changes, and depression. In my work with couples, I refer to resources from a number of well-known couples therapists including: The Gottman’s, David Schnarch, Jennifer Finlayson-Fife, and Terrence Real. I look forward to working with you.
